It is our privilege to have Denise Pennington as our October 2018 Member of the month at Central Sacramento! Denise started at Results with a 6 Week Challenge – during that time she had some physical setbacks that left her unable to continue with the challenge but once cleared by her doctor, she then decided to do the 21 Day Detox program and got the results she was after! She joined as a member in April 2018. Denise said she saw within her first week why Results is different from other gyms.
Denise’s “why” is to be healthy for herself and her daughter – she wants to show her daughter that a woman over 50 can be strong and beautiful as well as inspire other members of her family to change their relationship with food, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle.
Of Results, Denise says “the Results Fitfam is one of a kind. The minute you walk through the doors you know it’s unique and you feel the support from others”. She also appreciates that the workouts and the extra push from her MyZone help her deal with the stress from her job as CAO at UC Davis Health. You’ll find her on the MyZone screen as “HappyHr”! She’s the one in the red zone from doing her favorite exercise – jump squats! Denise’s favorite quote, “When life knocks you down, do a burpee!” are words to live by!
